Whole Scroll is a Chrome extension that captures the current page when you ask, then saves a PNG, JPG, or PDF on your computer. It is published by HY Thinking AI Technology Co., Limited, Room 702, Kowloon Building, 555 Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong.

What stays on your device

The extension does not keep a button on the page. A stop button appears only while a scrolling capture is running, and a countdown appears only for a delayed capture. Those controls do not read the page. Whole Scroll reads the page only after you start a capture, and only to make the image you asked for.

The image, the page address, the page title, and any text recognized with the built-in text recognition stay in this browser. Text recognition runs inside the extension. Up to 30 recent captures are kept locally so you can open them again. Files you save go to your own downloads folder. None of this is uploaded to us.

This browser also stores the settings you choose, such as paper size and watermark text, how many free downloads you have used, your license key, your email address, and a cached copy of your subscription status.

What we receive

If you register, sign in with Google, subscribe, or ask us to find a license from an email address, our server receives:

• the email address you enter
• a password, stored only as a hash, when you register with email
• the Google account identifier, when you continue with Google
• a license key created for that subscription
• whether the subscription is active, and when the current period ends
• the customer and subscription identifiers assigned by Stripe

The extension checks a license by sending that license key to our server. It does not send the page, the screenshot, or recognized text. The subscription record is stored on our server in the United States.

If your subscription is active and you report a problem, we also receive the title, the description, the extension version, and any images you attach. If you check the box on that form, we also receive a short record of recent capture actions: the capture or export type, the page address without its query string, and any error text. We do not receive that record unless you check the box. We use all of this only to handle the report. It is stored on the same server as the subscription record.

Payments

Checkout and the subscription management page are provided by Stripe. Stripe collects the payment details used to charge the yearly subscription and to handle applicable tax. We do not receive or store your card number. Stripe describes its own handling of payment information at stripe.com/privacy.

How we use this information

We use the email address, password hash, and Google account identifier to open your account and to give each account one 7-day trial. We use the email address and license key to start the subscription, show whether Premium is active, let you open the subscription again, and return the license key when you ask us to look it up by email. We use the subscription status to decide whether paid features remain available.

We do not sell this information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it with Stripe so Stripe can charge the subscription and host the subscription page. We also disclose it when the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Captures and settings stay on your device until you delete them in the extension or remove the extension. On our server, we keep the email address, license key, and subscription record for as long as the subscription is relevant, and for as long as we need those records to provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal duties.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the subscription record by emailing trading@hythinkingtec.com. Deleting that record does not by itself refund a charge Stripe has already made. You can cancel the subscription from the management page; access continues until the end of the period already paid.

Children

Whole Scroll is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address and the date above will change.
